Some of these are embarrassing, but we have all had those moments where well, a certain celebrity was our whole entire world. Yes, having dreams and crying when they post pictures with other women is totally normal, and yes eating ice cream is as well. It is all apart of growing up in the generation of social media I suppose. So here are some of the short term loves of my life.
- Hayden Christensen (2005-2006)
Anakin Skywalker will always have a place in my heart. He was my first love and when he ended up being Darth Vader I cried. (Yes, I watched the originally trilogy first, like a normal human). When I played video games with my little brother, I was always Anakin, because I decided I loved him. One time, I even played Star Wars Battlefront in my first communion dress picturing that we would get married-I was 6 or 7. You know, but sometimes, your fate is like Padme and your love kills you, literally. (jokes, jokes!) - Zac Efron (2007)
If this isn’t on everyones list then you either a). had no childhood or b). are lying to yourself. I did not fall in love with Troy Bolton until High School Musical 2 came out. To this day I am the only person in my year that can sing every word of every high school musical song, ever (Yes, even humuhumunukunukuapua’a) and I have so much pride in that. I used to have a poster in my room of Zac as Troy and I used to kiss it so much that there was a permanent stain on his lips. Yes, I was one of those children apparently. I was also 8, so your judgments are unnecessary. - Nick Jonas (2008)
Oh hey Nick 😉 THIS ONE IS FOR ALL YOU DIABETICS OUT THERE! I was diagnosed around the same time as Nick Jonas and I fell in love, again, for the third time. I made my mom buy me his dog tag, which I cannot locate today, but I swear to God I bought like 3, no joke. It was bad. When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, all children that are diagnosed have to take a picture, mine was in a high school musical shirt (HEY TROY, I STILL LOVE YOU!) and right next to the article about Nick Jonas and his diagnosis. And so from this day I still look for his pump and buy his CDs and spend over 100$ on Nick Jonas merch, but what do you expect from a Type 1 Diabetic?! FUN FACT: First time I ever saw Nick Jonas in concert I was screaming so loud some lady started yelling at me, and I have it all on video. Hahaha
- Justin Bieber (2009-present)
Here’s an embarrassing photo of how much my love for Justin Bieber has not changed from 2009 to yes 2016. Let’s be real, I know everyone loves him now but he was great when he and a girl had a common denominator, amiright?!?
So if you need any other proof of my devotion to Justin Bieber, I own every album and have a cardboard cut out of him. I also made my dad go out at midnight to buy his mom’s auto biography(Which is probably the best book I’ve ever read). - Tobey Maguire (2009 or earlier..)
Spider-Man will forever and always be my main man, and the super hero that stole my heart. Tobey Maguire being the first, just shot a web into my heart and I guess I’ve loved Spidey ever since. I’m honestly going to point the finger to my cousin on this one because he used to make me sit down and just watch Spider-Man. I mean for Christmas when I was two or three I asked for spiderman action figures. Like that is how far back my love went. Totally 100% true. I mean every time Tobey Maguire is in a movie, I have to go see it. Even when he’s in it for 3 minutes, it’s a requirement. - Harry Styles (2013)
There are a couple people in this world, and those that say they never liked Harry Styles are lying, because everyone has liked Harry Styles at some point. Yes, I did feel like I was betraying Justin, but one can be a belieber and a directioner at the same time, right? Right. I even to this day have a piece of tape taped on my doorway that is 5’10” which is Harry Styles’s height. I measured it, it’s right. Okay. So, yeah fight me. I also read the After series, while she was still updating, of course my friend showed it to me, and I was like 500 chapters behind but, I was apart of that fandom too. All in all, be apart of everything. Yeah. - Dylan O’Brien(2014)
Stiles Stilinski? Like, who doesn’t love Stiles Stilinski, he is without a doubt that greatest character in any film TV show ever, and I fell in love. Like okay, he is without a doubt the character that I would date, so um. Lydia Martin, what are you doing? My love for Dylan O’Brien started because my friend told me to watch Teen Wolf. And then boom, Stiles Stilinski. And then if you go during his career The First Time is also bomb, so is the Internship as well as the Maze Runner series and he is just such a beautiful human and ugh I love him. I just love him. He is one of my seven loves.

You know you love, Nate Archibald. In my opinion he was the one that was screwed over the most, and I mean let’s be real how does the hottest one end up single. I don’t get it, but he definitely made me fall head over heels in love with him. Man, let me tell you it is totally normal to get butterflies in your stomach every time that you see Nate Archibald walk onto the screen because trust me, it happened for me, so I feel you. I mean I used to walk around my house crying because I loved him so much, I kid you not. My parents really hate when I binge watch TV shows because it’s bad for everyone. LIKE PLEASE GO TO A HOSPITAL BECAUSE I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS MAN (AND HIS BROTHER TOO) AND I’VE NEVER BEEN THE SAME SINCE, LIKE THIS MAN LITERALLY TAKES ALL OF YOUR FEELINGS AND JUST MESSES THEM UP, TOTALLY 100% SO HE IS ON HERE. ONLY AS NUMBER 8 BECAUSE HE IS A RECENT LOVE. BUT ONE DAY, actually just kidding my best friend called dibs but I can look at him, right? Yeah, totally. - Steph Curry (2015)
The man himself, who has a picture perfect family, who is also living the dream, who also has the most beautiful eyes, and also the best shot in NBA history, and who also has the best I don’t even know, the best everything so he’s basically one of the best humans ever. I’m so obsessed with this man that I own a pair of socks with his face on it. Like if that doesn’t show dedication I don’t know what does. He is the best. Hands down. And if you have never seen his wife’s instagram, then seriously go check it because if you don’t want your future husband to do dubsmashs with you then, why would you even get married (my favorite is the one of him singing Frozen, go check it out). But, I just could talk for hours about Steph Curry. He’s just amazing.
This is actually super fun trying to think of the top 10 celebrities that you have loved the most, and the longest. But seriously you’re not alone. You are not the only person that cries when you see him kissing another girl, and you are not the only one that believes you are gonna get married (sorry ladies, Justin’s mine) but everyone does this. Seriously for every person they love at least one celebrity. Don’t let them lie to you. Because they’re wrong. Trust me.
